Sheet metal components are often used to support electronics, lighting, equipment and machinery, rather than forming part of our customers’ high-value core products.

  • Parts available in a wide range of materials: stainless steel, aluminium, cold-rolled steel (CRS), Aluzinc, copper, and plastics such as Mylar and Formex.
  • A range of surface-treatment options: paint, textured paint, zinc plating, Alodine, Surtec and tin plating.
  • A quality-control report for each shipment, prepared by our quality-control technicians.

Sheet metal fabrication operations

Operation Equipment Details
Bending Bending press Bends sheet metal to a specified angle and internal radius.
Punching Punching press / CNC punching press Cuts, marks or perforates sheet metal.
Stamping Stamping press Forms sheet metal by pressing it in a die at high pressure.
Welding Manual welding or robotic welding Assembles different sheet metal parts and adds inserts or other components.
Painting Paint line Cleaning, degreasing, painting and drying.
Assembly Manual assembly, screwdriving equipment, press fitting Assembles different components into a complete product.
Cutting Laser, waterjet, punching or press The choice of machine depends on the material, its thickness and the required cut-edge quality.
