  PCB specifications and options

AGC offers a wide range of Print Circuit Board options, the main options include:

  • Single-sided boards  (components assembled on one side of the board only)
  • Double-sided boards (components on both side, place saver)
  • Aluminium boards  (better heat dispersion)
  • Plastic boards (FR1/XPC/FR4/CEM1/CEM3)
  • Multilayer boards (up to 50 layers) (allow complex circuit routing)
  • Flexible PCBs
  • HDI (High Density Interconnect borad, Type I, Type II & Type III)
  • Rigid / rigid-flex boards

Board sizes of up to 500 × 500 mm are available, with options including through vias, via-in-pad, blind vias and buried vias.

  PCB Assembly capabilities

Our capabilities include most common assembly requirements and allows use us to quote up to 95% of our customer’s projects. Based on SMT/ SMD (Surface Mounted Technology /Device) and through-hole assembly we are able to work with electronic components size down to 01005 on RoHS wave soldering lines or manual assembly lines.

If your electronic board requires protection against environmental conditions such as dust or water, we can provide conformal coating and potting solutions for applications requiring IP67 or IP68 protection.

Based on our strong mechanical experience, you can rely on us for the full assembly of your final product, we may provide all the casing servicing based on you requirements.

Electronic component sourcing

Electronic components are not always readily available and may have very long lead time.  We provide support in identifying component suppliers.

PCB assembly in China can be even more cost-effective when components are sourced locally.  Component localization also have an impact on component availability and may be very helpful to reduce the production lead time.

In addition, some component suppliers have a regional distribution policy, meaning that components may be only available or less expensive in Asia / China than the rest of the world.

  PCBA quality control

Depending on your project and your requirements, we can provide below quality tests and inspection:

  • Automated optical inspection (AOI)
  • X-ray soldering inspection
  • RoHS spectrometer testing – XRF (verify the presence of forbidden elements in electronic components)
  • 3D solder paste inspection machine
  • Functional testing   (test bench can be developed by AGC or be provided by customer)
  • IPC-A-600 /610 visual inspection
  • ICT testing
  • Burn-in testing
